Can a Rat be unhealthy for a snake?

Hey, So I currently have three pet Rats but one of my girls has two tumours and will have to be euthanized probably in the next few months. I want to give her to someone who needs a Rat for their reptile so her death can at least contribute to helping another’s life but since I don’t have a snake I’m not sure how the rats health may affect the snakes. Would it be fine to give her as a feeder rat after her death or would it be safer if I didn’t?

I wouldn't. The drugs used to euthanize the rat will still be present in the tissues after death and could be harmful to the snake.

I think his question is more along the lines as will the tumor hurt the snake

I don't know if the tumor will hurt the snake, but I'm pretty sure the drugs used to euthanize the rat will.
