UTH over heated on my baby kingsnake, not sure what to do

So my baby MBK is currently on flexwatt regulated by a thermostat, but when I was moving his tub either the probe got knocked lose from the tape or I forgot to re-tape it down when I moved it, but the end result was me noticing probably 3 hours later and when I used my IR thermometer it was at 140 degrees. My little guy was all over the tank so I dont think he was sitting on it and I didnt see any burn marks but he is small and dark so I may have missed them. Ive been using flexwatt for years and this is the first time something like this has happened as I always tape the probe directly to the flexwatt. Anyways I am not sure what to look out for, I know overheating can have effects aside from just burns.
