New Hog Island
A Hog Island has been on my want list for quite a while. And I finally had the opportunity to get one! I've named 'her' Oatmeal. I got her on Saturday so she is still settling in.

I use an AP T8 for her right now. I'll be upgrading her to a taller cage once she gets a bit bigger.

Re: New Hog Island
I wanted an AP cage but it was too hefty of a price tag. So making it myself seemed better lol

So am I. I know most people want the least amount of speckling possible but I really like it.

Re: New Hog Island
Ah! Congrats! I love my little girl ro bits, but I think she is under the impress she's a green tree python lol. I NEVER see her in her hide or in the ground. She is always up on the perch. If she stays like that, I may have to build her cage since most PVC cages max out at 2 feet tall.
She is also a scary fierce feeder! Gotta watch my fingers! (Even with tongs lol)

Gorgeous Hog! I really love those reduced saddles and pale color, it will be nice to see how this one turns out.

Ali at Animal Plastics does custom dimensions. The only downfall is that height adds more to the price tag than depth or length.

Re: New Hog Island
I want to have all matching enclosures eventually and I have decided to actually go with Boaphile for all the enclosures. Hopefully I will be buying their Trilogy enclosure with my anual bonus from work. =)

Since settling in I rarely see this girl on the ground. She's always as high as she can go.
She hasn't eaten for me yet so I haven't witnessed her feeding response yet.

Re: New Hog Island
Congrats! She is adorable I love mine...I think he may be one of my favorites thus far. Little stinker has been refusing food lately though which has me a bit worried but...I tend to worry about just about everything lol.
