Tiny bugs appearing in enclosure? (Possibly springtails)

So I noticed that one of my cornsnakes had these tiny little dark grayish bugs crawling around on the wood in his enclosure. I also tried to take pictures at the time but couldn't cause they are very tiny. So I took the water bowl out an found one died in the water an another was in the bowl on the rim. So I was able to get a picture before I freak out over nothing.

The link to pictures are here - http://imgur.com/gallery/I7z3S0C

Re: Tiny bugs appearing in enclosure? (Possibly springtails)

If I'm seeing the picture properly...old eyes...I would say it is not snake mites. Not sure what they are but I would clean the enclosure out, replace or bake the substrate at 250 degrees for an hour...stirring every 15 minutes. I use repti bark and bake it like that for both my "kids" I've had no issues yet. That being said I just noticed a couple no seems in Snipers enclosure but that would from being pretty warm here and having the Windows open lol. I'm sure you'll be fine but if noticed it you have to fix it.
