Ball Python dry/cracking scales. Please help!!

When my ball python finished shedding a few weeks ago I found a few white-ish dry patches of scales. I did some research and figured that it was no big deal since most forums said the dry patches should go away with the next shed if I kept the enclosure at the correct humidity/temp. As time has gone on however, the patches have gotten worse. The scales are looser and there are a couple cracks in his skin. I’m afraid that he might have some sort of infection. Please help, I am very worried! Any suggestions/answers would be greatly appreciated!
