Wink Do you talk to your animals?

People think I'm crazy for talking to my snakes... But what am I supposed to do? ignore them, and be rude when they ask me a question... Haha...

I talk to all my reptiles - I get a more rewarding conversation from them than my wife!

Nothing I wouldn't say to her face . She tolerates me and my dreadful sense of humour.

Been married 12 years in August and trust me-after what we've been through together we wouldn't be without each other - all jokes aside

Of course, I have to have an intelligent conversation somehow.

Re: Do you talk to your animals?

We don't really talk to our snakes, it's more like shouting at them. Come out from behind the sofa, move over and give me some room will ye, if I'd have wanted the TV moved I'd have done it myself

Re: Do you talk to your animals?

I love talking to my snakes, and pretending they can hear me. I even have one that will look up at me as if she's listening. Sometimes I even ask for nuzzles and kisses and they respond with nuzzles and kisses.

buahahahah! I yell at my snakes for getting me in trouble all the time (get out of the fridge. Don't climb under the chair. Stop wrapping around the floor lamp. You cannot fit through the headboard)

Re: Do you talk to your animals?

Oh gosh yea all the time. XD I talk to my snake(s), my rat, our dogs, birds outside.
Sometimes I quietly talk to the frozen rat, "apologizing" to it.

I am hopeless, but HEY! I love them all and don't care that they usually can't/don't reply~

Re: Do you talk to your animals?

OOooh yeah I talk to them all the time. Tho I'm usually yelling at the cats to stop being a**holes, the kitten especially. Some times the rabbit too, but he usually runs away in gleeful joy when I catch him being bad. He does not care that he was bad or that I caught him haha.
The reptiles I usually tell them how cute they are, especially my cape house snake since he's soooo little and cute <3.
My horse is my therapist. I would not be sane without her.
