Brian Hawley of Associated Serpents just sent me an email cheque! THANK YOU BRIAN!! Every dime donated goes directly to the care of injured turtles or their salvaged offspring. People effort at the Kawartha Turtle Trauma Centre is all volunteer!

Thanks again to everyone who is pledging me and my crazy mane!

BTW, it's now an international event - thanks to Bobbie!!!

Sponsor me at the expo on Sunday! Highest pledge gets to do the deed!!!

PS... Yeah - I know I'm nuts!

People - I really hope that Steve gets enough cash to shave that thing on his head. There are three reasons to donate....

1) The charity is a perfect place for herpers to throw some cash at. Who doesn't want to save turtles? This is a chance for us that keep critters in cages to show that we also care about wild rep's as well. Plus... you are saving herps right here in Ontario.

2) Who feels bad after giving money to charity? It's one of those things where you feel great after doing it, no matter what.

3) For my friends and I, it would make so much great joke material if he actually has to cut the hair. Really it would.....

Thanks... and send money!

Jordan - the ponytail is going to Kids with Cancer. The rest will end up buzzed onto the floor. If you wanna clean it up, you can try selling it on E-Bay. I hear used curly greying hair is going for a mint these days!

Calling all herpers! The pledges are trickling in... slowly...

If you're coming to the Ontario Expo, you can sponsor in person!
If you're not, please email me with your pledge! It isn't for me - HONEST!! It's for the turtles! The Kawartha Turtle Trauma Centre does such amazing work - all volunteer - but they need money to do this work - food for the turtles equipment, etc. They even need a bigger building to house all these injured turtles in!

PLEASE EMAIL ME - cerastes@sympatico.ca - and sponsor my stupid hair!!!

Thanks!
Steve

THANKS to everyone who just emailed me with more pledges!!

We are still a LONG way from the tally of $2000 - and you folks know, I'm not shaving if we don't reach that tally, right?? Just checking!!

PLEDGE by email PLEASE!! cerastes@sympatico.ca That'll help boost the tally towards that $2000 target!

Come to the EXPO and support the injured turtles and have a HUGE laugh!!

THANKS!
Steve

Tomorrow's the big day! The Ontario Reptile Expo! And a spectacle to behold! IF you sponsor enough monetary love for those turtles! Please bring a little extra dough to the show to prove that you care about turtles! Or email me if you're not going to be there...

Thanks everyone!

Well - as irritating as I was on the microphone, we did manage to raise some funds for turtles. A raffle was held by the Kitchener Waterloo group for assorted skulls and other prizes - They took in almost $200. And as for my hair, the ponytail measured 23 inches long. It's going to Locks For Love to make wigs for kids with hairlessness due to illness. And the Kawartha Turtle Trauma Centre recieves a big $2300!!
