Is my monitor ok?

I own a 6 month old savannah monitor who lives in a 8x4x4 cage, basking spot of about 130, and with humidity of about %80. One day i was feeding him small mice(frozen but defrosted), and he put one in his mouth and then put another one in his mouth, then he made some sort of hissing noise (he has never hissed at us and it doesnt sound like the hissing i saw on videos), he has been doing it for about 2 days then he stopped. Should i be worried that he's chocking? Should i be worried at all?

If it stopped, no worries.

slow down feeding, give ample time between mice to fully swallow.
