We were mowing 14 acres of my back yard today and both of these lovely ladies were at risk of getting chopped up by the mower. So I gave them safe sanctuary until all mowing is complete.








also found a whole bunch of these delicious wild strawberries...Ate a lot of them right there as I picked them. YUM.

I`m always so envious of people in other countries saying they`re going field herping or finding a beautiful snake in the wild! I used to love going looking for slow worms when I was a kid (a lizard that looks like a snake) but you just hardly ever see snakes over here, no fair! And gimme a strawberry. lol ;D

LMAO - tried cutting our lawn today too - blew up my strimmer!!! May take a photo of my efforts so we can compare!!! Tho i think your landscpae wins hands down mate!

There is some very dark babies in there. One is almost all black with no stripe at all down it's back.

the viv and the mice are a lot smaller.

2-3 garters are happy in a 20 long tank.

separate at feeding time to prevent food fights and you can keep a few in just one tank.
