9 Babies.
1. Mexican Garter snake
2. Infernalis female
3. 2 more albino red sided
4. 2 High red x Albino themnophis radix (plains garters) females
5. Nebraska Albino radix
6. Iowa albino radix
7. het for hybyno female radix

The Plains garter snake (Thamnophis Radix) has the mild temperament that would be better for little ones.
When garter snakes are babies, they are afraid of everything, so the first year with a new baby snake its best to not handle them much.

Garters are also unbelievably fast. Pythons take the view "oh, I'll get there eventually". But with garters, if you blink, they're gone forever.

That's the truth.
3 summers ago we saw a wild flame in the back yard, the snake made it to the tall grass so fast it was over in an instant.
never saw the wild flame again since.
