Gravid Radix (Plains Garter)
She's getting close to having her babies.

I just moved the father out to his own private tank for a while so the mom can have her babies in peace.

She has been really active moving around a lot and acting strange, usually a sign that birth is right around the corner.

Here are the proud parents to be..

first my lady Diana . . . The Roman Goddess, Queen of Heaven; Mother of Animals; Lady of Wild Creatures; and the Huntress. (Look it up) She is a double het, Snow/Christmas...



Now the father, Herbie the Christmas Radix (He wants to be a dentist)



By pairing these two, The babies will be a mix of the Christmas morph, Snow morph and maybe a few that display various degrees of albinism.

Update - She had jellybeans.

Jellybeans = dead eggs

I found a clump of amber coloured infertile eggs in her cage.

No babies this time.
