Plants in terrariums

What would be the best plant for air purification? One that scrubs the air better than others, for instance. I'm seeing alot of golden pothos and ferns, just wanted some various opinions. Thanks!

Have a read at this infographic. It's focused on common houseplants but some are also safe for an enclousure!

What's gonna end up in the terrarium? I've never seen a question like this in regards to herps before.

My gut tells me that low light plants with lots of surface area would be the best bet. That could lots of big broad leaves, or lots of little leaves. This seems to be at least supported in theory by the plants in the infographic fedeCF provided in terms of those plants having lots of leaves.

My idea would be that low light plants would have to rely more on Carbon Dioxide/soil nutrients a bit more than a really light dependent species.

I tried to find something that either supported or refuted my thoughts and even accidentally learning an obnoxious amount of crap about wild plant competition but unfortunately I couldn't find anything. I'm not a biologist but maybe check a plant growing hobby forum for some more information would be a good start?
