My turtle laid her eggs in the pond. Should I be worried?

Hi everyone.

My YBS, Doroteia, laid at least two eggs in the water, in the pond. Can they do it, or is it a sign of stress or something? She dug the sand all around the pond too, but I never found any eggs and the only reason I knew she had laid her eggs on the pond was that, luckily, I saw it...

I was able to catch the second egg intact and buried it my self, but the first one was already eaten by the other turtle on the pond (Mississipi Map turtle, Donatello)... Do you think it can still hatch?

Thank you all!

If you caught it fast enough then likely yes.
