My Banded King

This is little Toot, my Banded Kingsnake. Even when he was worm sized he had a really powerful little bite on him ! I had to peel him a couple of times and he obviously didn`t think much of it and had a chew on my hand. I was really surprised at the amount of pressure he was able to exert in his bite! He`s a beautiful little guy. Has anyone else here got an adult? I`ve never even seen a picture of an adult and I`d love to !

He`s growing reeeealy slowly lol Eventually he`ll be a four or five footer apparently but you`d never guess by the rate he`s growing at ! He`s going to be one gorgeous snake if he gets that big....

Ooooh thirty four at the moment I think

They started off in our bedroom, then there were so many we had to move out of that room to make room for more snakes ! lol Now they all live in my snake room where my wifes also works as an architect and we sleep in the small bedroom

I`ve got a Malagasy Hognose coming on wednesday too, nice.....

Named after Tootunkamoon, if that`s how you spell it lol Because he`s a King... I like to find some sort of link and then come up with a cryptic name for my snakes

I just wish I could think of one for my new Malagasy Hognose ! I`m reading through place names and people`s names in Madagascar but nothing usable yet.... I thought about calling him Voodoo but decided I didn`t like it enough. I might look for plant or mushroom names in Madagascar actually, those usually have nice sounding names....
