I realize your son brought it home, but when folks offer advice, it is ignored & more health issues start popping up as a result of not following proper husbandry as it is suggested still it gets to the point where why bother helping? Or "ranting" as you call it. The fact is your son brought home a pet without knowing how to care for it & now that you are learning advice is being ignored or excused as no $ now. Pets require basics & these basics cost $. They are not being net here. Anyhow you say you have the book. Thats all you need to do is read it & follow simple instructions. Enough said, good luck. Mark
