He's looking great Danny! They're definitely not shy when it comes to food aye.

Re: New purchase - Liasis olivaceus (olive pythons)

Had the olives out today and for once it was Olive Oil who was feeling photogenic. And she nearly didn't try and kill me when I got her out which is an improvement!

She's a real beauty DBG! How old are your pair? I have to get some more pics of my male soon.

Re: New purchase - Liasis olivaceus (olive pythons)

Thanks all. Another pair I'm blessed to own.

@Zig - they're CB16 and having season in the UK for such things is around now so I'm guessing there at our around the 12 month mark.

Re: New purchase - Liasis olivaceus (olive pythons)

Our Olives are on the same page Danny. My male hatched 7/1/16 so he's 13 months now. I got him on 1/4/17. He's looks about the same size as your female too. Almost 4ft and about 800g. What are you feeding those beasts? It's funny that your girl is still a bit bitey. My guy tagged me once when I first got him but not a nip since. You never fully trust them though.

Still haven't weighed mine. I think mine are a little under 4' - probably closer to 3 1/2'.

I've just moved them to go 2 rat fluffs every 7-10 days with a view to pushing them to weaners before the end of the year..

And she's more than bitey at times - she can be positively pyschotic . Lovely creatures though.
