i just got a lil green anole i think it's female but i don't know anyway it was bright green when i put her n there and it went straight to the foilage and i left it i went back n a bit later and it was brown yes i know they go from green to brown what i'm asking is how can i reduse stress on it...it was so still and brown i thought it was one of my house geckos....and i need to up the temp could u guys give me some ideas
It is normal I wouldnt do anything to the tank .Anoles are a pretty hardy lizard .Somtimes the more you fiddle with tanks .The worse you can make the situation .It is proably stressed from the move .My advice is to leave it alone for a few days .Then see how it is .Let it get used to its enviorment .Sorry about any grammer problem that may be in this meesage mark
they also change color to their temp as well... i keep my house nice and hot so i dont have many heat issues ever... unless its to hot! as i notice with my anoles when it is cooler they do go brown when its hot they are a bright bright green, same with the Knight anoles its not always stress that makes them change color their enviroment temp mood, and color of their surrondings will do it as well i've noticed in my tanks
thanx are females smaller than males ? and it is doing much better i had a heat light from the pet store and it went dead n like 2 weeks and i found that a reg light bulb puts off more heat
