Look at it this way. The bi-law's in toronto are 3 meters for a snake. How many people in Toronto own retics, burms, anacondas etc. I believe the law for lizards is 2 meters, and you've got god knows how many iguanas, and monitors.

Be a responsible pet owner, and i highly highly doubt you'll have any problems whatsoever. If you live in a rented dwelling, if your landlord comes in just cover up the animals.. He/she isnt allowed to snoop through your belongings. Trust me you wont have problems as long as you continue to be a responsible pet owner. is offline

Yea but they seem pretty serious here. I mean they still allow pet stores to sell burmese, retics, and anacondas in Toronto. In Brampton, they have take every Python and Boa from each store, pretty stupid. Just happened recently. Hey Paul, thanks a lot for contacting him for me. If you don't mind, could you ask him if there is anything I can do to help him

Gino, its the same thing here. If the OSPCA comes into any store and sees anacondas, trust me they'll be made to get rid of them.
We had a few reps come in and tell us to get rid of our scorpions and spiders.. We had 48 hours to do so. is offline
