Re: Help!!!

You could point out that not only are snakes very quiet, they are also completely hypo-allergenic. Snakes are far cleaner than traditional mammalian pets, such as dogs, cats, and rodents. Snakes often cost less, as their food is cheaper than designer dog/cat food, they eat less, and don't require immunizations or catch fleas! Also, with proper care, snakes live much longer than dogs and cats. Short of having goldfish, snakes are the cleanest, quietest, lowest maintenance pets.

Re: Help!!!

I think you should listen to your parents. If they don't want one in the house there isn't anything you can do. You've got plenty of years ahead of you to own whatever you want once you're moved out.

Re: Help!!!

Sorry it's not something you wanted to hear but I can't actually tell you to defy your parents rules.

Never got it as a kid. I get it now that I've got my own roof and my own rules.

Re: Help!!!

Snakes often take up a lot more room than they look like they might, A boa or python needs at least a 5 foot tank (some less some more, depending on the species).

Dude, yes...but now I like to think I make the rules. I'm old enough to see it from both sides, and most of the time, I tend to side with the elders.

Re: Help!!!

True enough. They don't say it for no reason, nor do parents put rules into place just to piss us off. They are wise in their older years Maybe I should look upto you then?:P
