My little girl Anya with her mouse (she takes anywhere from 3-5 per feeding, hasn't taken any small rats, only crawlers and small hoppers).

Gotta love the pink on her nose Never noticed it until this pic, lol (she's snippy, don't want my face bitten )

Nice, nice, nice. Just what I was hoping to see. Great photos from all.

About that Longnose snake. It is a WC snake, and deserves to have native meals. Plus, all it will take. But, it is healthy, living fine and doing just great. Many other species, including the sidwinders I have at home, will be nearly stuck on a lizard only diet, like the vine snake eating the leo.

Here is a photo of one of one my boas. This time with a nice, lizard friendly F/T rat. Really nice way to show the lacking of pattern on his sides. To cool.

I don't have too many feeding pics, but these ones are some of the more memorable ones

Inside her meal...

Awesome photos... I plan on adding some of my own tomorrow...

As for the issue of what to feed... I think that animals deserve their natural prey... and if they prefer it to commercially available mice and rats, why not? Great thread, guys! =)

Exactly. By forcing them to conform to a different diet, they can suffer from many types of disease, ultimately leading to an untimely death. I personally prefer the convenience of feeding rodents, so for now, all my snakes will only be of the kind that can do well on a rodent diet.

Linds,

How did the snake end up munching on a grocery bag?
