Cypress mulch

Any nurseries in or around Toronto stock cypress mulch, or do you have to buy it from a pet store?

i used to use it alot but i found that pine bark mulch is much cheaper and a little damper, great for humidity, can be found at nurserys in 3 cubic feet bags for under $10

Cypress mulch is harder to come by these days as alot of places don't stock it anymore. The reason I was given by the manager of one nursery was that the the low Canadian dollar made it expensive to bring in,so they just didn't bother. Its mostly herpers who buy it any way. There are about 20 places in Ontario that stock it, but none where I am ,just east of Toronto. If you find a place, let me know. In the States you can buy it at gas stations for about 4 bucks a bag. I like using it for species that require high humidity, but if it drys out completely it gets pretty dusty. Best to keep it damp but not sopping wet. Hope this helps, Grant P.S. try Ren's out in Oakville
