Once or twice a week. Obviously if it gets dirty however times in a week it would be cleaned that many times though.

Whenever it needs it, but no longer than a week to 10 days. Sometimes every day, sometimes twice a day, sometimes 3 times a month. It all depends. No set schedule.

I clean as needed. Can be as little as a few times a month, but might have to be cleaned more often if they crap in it or in the case of some of the really small dishes, it dries out in a matter of two days. I wouldn't habitually clean every day because I believe a sterile environment only helps to weaken an animals resistance.

Once a week or when soiled, which ever comes first. I just changed my boas water two days ago. He pretty much went right over to it and drank and drank and drank (I think he likes when I fill his bowl w/ warm water). Then the next day I fed him a jumbo and large rat. I probably won't see him now for about a week...lol

I change water every other day, dirty or not....... After every water change I fill a couple of gallon containers so it can distil..... I never use, fresh out of the sink. tap water.....

Any reason for this? I would think that any tap water would be much better than the water that snakes drink in the wild. However, we have an R/O system in our house, so most of the time I use the filtered water.

twice a day, befor school and befor I go to sleep at night because my snakes tend to soak in it alot and drag dirt into it with them and I use repti safe to knock out any harmful substances in the water.
