the problem boycotting certain companies is you are helping more oil companies grow, which can be good. but not in the case of Esso.
Shell and Petro Can. are investing millions into "green energy"
(windmills, solar paneling etc...) Esso on the other hand is not investing a penny, they also helped fund Pres. Bush's campaign.
if anyone gets a chance check out
(im pretty sure thats the address)
cool info on it. i started getting interested cos my dads an oil worker.

Gas stations do not control their prices. head offices control the prices. The only way the price changes is if Head office gives the call. Great theory, but it will never work.

Most of the cost in gas is taxes. The gas companies are not the ones at fault. Funny thing is we supply most of it to the states and we are paying more than they are. Where is the logic in that?

Good idea, but, when I've bought gas, it's either at Safeway or Domo.
