Tank 3'X3'X1' - too short?

I am planning in advance for the upgrade to my tank. I was told that my plated lizard will outgrow the one I have within 6 months. Is one foot tall too short? Care sheets rarely mention tank height requirements.

the height doesnt matter tall enough that it cant escape is good pending on the size of it it would look into feed tubs lots of room there cheap and you wont need a lid
