Might I just add that when treating lizards for mites, it's best to treat their heads with a cotton ball soaked in the Nix solution as they don't have eyecaps to shield their corneas.

Do treat the closed eyelids as mites love the creases there.

another thing I like about NIX is its safe for nursing mice and rats I dont think I seen that mentioned I could be wrong.

I've used Nix before. Not the way you described though. I got a new snake home and found it had mites. The breeder gave me a Nix spray. It worked well but at the time I only had the one snake. I used Black Knight the last time with great success. Hopefully I won't need it anytime soon. I went to a show last week and the maker of Reptile Relief gave me two bottles for free to sample, haven't really heard too much about Reptile Relief though. Your info on Nix is interesting, and pretty cheap to make. Thanks for the info.
