1. boas give birth to live young, pythons lay eggs

no the Calabar BOA lays eggs (yeah yeah, still under contention, blah blah blah)

There is also another sand boa that lays eggs. EBV has the first recorded captive hatching of them in the states

Good question yoeun905; I've wondered thisa aswell.

Is it true that pythons have heat pits and boas don't?

Emerald Tree boas and Amazon Tree boas have heat pits... so that distinction doesn't work either

they dont look the same.look at a retic and look at a red tail boa, i dont think they even look close to the same.
