Hi all, been looking and reading through all your threads, not sure if I missed it or I just can't find them but I am interested in seeing your reptile set-ups. here is mine.

Any thing you think I could add/change to make our snakes have a better life?

Re: Your Set-up Photos

mine are nothing special right now because nobody is full grown but I am in the planning stages for "adult homes" for everyone. Hope to start construction in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully more people post here so I can get some ideas.

The ceramic heat bulb is red because I thought the normal one was too bright for him, blue LED is for me to see inside, not on all the time and he doesn't seem to mind at all.

Anyone else have any info on if i am doing anything wrong? He seams really happy now he is in his new home, Struggling get his humidity right at the moment, it never goes below 50% i try to keep it at 55% but i am thinking he is going in to shed and not sure how i'll get it closer to 70%-80%

well as I'm still new to pythons and well reptiles in general I am guessing what I have learnt so far is that his eyes have gone blue so that means he is just starting the shed cycle, is that correct? what should his humidity be, I checked this morning and it was around 57% so I sprayed the enclosure and added a small water bowl in the hot end. I have also put some loose sphagnum moss in the hot end. does this sound ideal?

I'd say it's main phase but a snake know she's going to shed 1-2 days before and she start hiding before her eyes went blue.

Glad you enjoyed it, I think after the tweaking Darrell did it turned out rather nicely.

What does the enclosure consist of? Just wanting tips and advice really? Mine seems really happy at the minute but if I can give him a better life I will. He ate again today no problems at all, he's only pooped once since I have had him and ate 3 times is that normal for a baby ball?
