Well i don't have too herps so I can't give an opinion based on experience but too me soultion #2 seems more practical and cheap. ok oin the wild they have predators and smelling them but never seeing them will just make them think theres another competor nearby also its large so they have space annd to me it seems cheaper and less work because you just take out the snakes put them in seprate containers and take out the diveder and clean and poof! all done thats just my opinion.
