i leave veggies in the tank with the beardie, but when i feed it crickets i take it out and handfeed them one at a time. or when im in a hurry i just put everything in a 10 gallon and let it eat as much as it wants in there.
ive never had any problems handfeeding, and i have never been bitten.
but feeding in a seperate tank is just as good if not better.
