Alittle bit ago I was inquiring about bringing a Gaboon across the boarder and made some calls to various branches of government. What I found was that no one really knew anything. After speaking with Canada Customs, I learned that as far as they are concerned so long as I have the proper paper work (ei.CITIES if required), and a reciept of sale, they were fine with it. Customs couldn't even tell me what species are prohibited in my area. Even Enviornment Canada could really tell me much. I got the same thing there, they were concerned only if it was a CITIES protected species. Funny huh? Even the Ministry of Fish and Wildlife couldn't tell me what if any, species were prohibited. I love how organized and informed our government agencies are.
