Austrailia has a very fragile ecosystem because of it's isolation from the rest of the world early on when the continents seperated, so the introduction of non-indigenous life causes a major strain on native populations. There's a reason marsupials died out pretty much everywhere else in the world.

They have pretty draconian laws to protect that ecosystem as well. Unfortunate but necessary there.

Ball Python, Leopard Geckos, Bearded Dragon, Crested Geckos, Corn snakes a Dumeril's Boa and African Dwarf Frogs so far.
