when people increase the temp, it's to help the system fight the pathogens or viruses. It's not a medication to do alone. As for baitril, do not tell someone to use a specific type of medication till you are 100% certain of what type of infection it is. Viral infections and pathogens aren't the same thing at all. So please do not tell someone to use a specific type of medication unless you saw what it is or are 100% certain.
I have a roughneck with ulceres that spread internally. One vet prescribed me some baytril to treat him. It wouln't work and I was wondering why. I took it to an other vet and he explained to me that when it's a viral infection, baytril won't work.
Bacterial and viral is not the same thing and necessite different medications.
