i have one of those heat pads that stick to the bottom. the thermometer is on the back wall about an inch above the substrate (reptile bark) The thermo reads about 82 most of the time, but i am aiming for about 85. Do you think that the surface is warmer than the thermo says because it is only measuring the air? If not my pad might not be warm enoug, and i should get a lamp too. thx
